Best Western announces winner of Hotel of the Year awards
Best Western Hotels GB announces the winners of the highly competitive ?Best Western Hotel of the Year? awards at its Annual Members? Conference, 20-22 January 2007, held this year at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC). The highly sought after awards are open to all 290 member hotels of the Best Western consortium and awards are also given to regional hotel winners for their achievement.
The awards are based on various criteria such as quality assessment scores, customer service skills, quality awards and achievements, and brand compliance.
This year?s winner ? the Best Western Midland Hotel, Derby achieved an outstanding result and the hotel?s combined effort to meet and exceed all standards, branding and criteria ensured a wining award for the four-star hotel. The hotel is an elegant Victorian listed building, sympathetically restored with 95 bedrooms and a fine-dining restaurant.
